Delete your data.
Valeska has no account, so there is no account to delete. Your records live on your phone, and in any backup or copy you choose to make. PhoenixCKK has no copy. You can delete all of it yourself, at any time. If you used an older version with an account, you can also ask us to delete what is left on the old account service.
Step 1: Erase everything on your phone
Open Valeska, go to Settings → Erase everything on this phone, type ERASE, and confirm. This removes all your records from that phone, including dependent profiles, documents, and photos. It can't be undone.
Erasing does not remove your purchase. If you unlocked Valeska, it stays unlocked.
Erasing does not delete your iCloud backup or any copies you saved. Do Step 2 to delete those too.
Step 2: Delete your backups and saved copies
iPhone and iPad (iCloud backup):
- To stop new backups, open the Settings app, tap your name at the top, tap iCloud, and turn off Valeska.
- To delete the backup, in the same iCloud screen tap Manage Storage (on some versions, Manage Account Storage), tap Valeska, and delete its data.
There is no button inside Valeska that deletes your iCloud backup. You delete it in the iPhone or iPad Settings app. Turn off iCloud for Valeska first, so a new backup isn't made after you delete. If you keep your iCloud backup instead, you'll need your recovery code to restore it later.
Android: Valeska for Android does not back up to the cloud on its own, so there is no automatic backup to delete.
Saved copies (any phone): if you used Save a copy, each copy is a file you saved yourself. Delete it from wherever you put it, such as your Files app, a drive, or an email. Valeska can't reach those files for you.
Records in your old account
Before October 6, 2026, Valeska had accounts, and some people's records were stored on our old account service. That service and everything on it, including old accounts, records, and document images, are deleted on December 1, 2026.
Want it deleted sooner? Until then, email info@valeska.app from the address on your old account with the subject "Delete my Valeska account." We'll permanently delete your old account and all its data within 30 days and confirm by email when it's done. No app or sign-in needed.
Want your old records on your phone first? If you were still signed in on your iPhone or iPad, open Valeska there before you email us. It copies your old records to your phone one time.
If you still have an older version of Valeska (before 1.24 on iPhone and iPad, or before 1.5 on Android), please update it.
What we keep
We don't keep a copy of your records. After the old account service is deleted, we hold nothing tied to you, except emails you send us, which we keep only as long as we need to help you. Apple and Google keep their own records of your purchase under their policies.
