Why Pro costs money

The basics are free. For good.

Logging your health should never sit behind a paywall, so the core app is free for good, whether you’re managing a long-term condition or just building better habits.

Pro and Family are for the heavier extras: the AI write-ups, polished Visit Prep exports, sharing with people who help you, and keeping your info backed up and in sync. Only pay if you want them, and we’ll never take away something you already had for free.

🏥

What we will never do

Sell, rent, or share your health info with anyone, ever. Run ads. Track what you do inside the app. Or lock up the info on your phone when a subscription ends.

📵

What you won’t see

A pop-up trying to sell you something after you log a symptom. "Pay to see your own history." Daily nag reminders. Or a pricing page that hides what’s included.

📨

What we will do

Email you two weeks before any price change. Keep your price the same if you’re already a subscriber. And reply to your emails ourselves, there’s two of us, and we read every one.

Common questions

The honest FAQ.

Is the free app ever going away?

No. The core app, logging, reminders, charts, and your patterns, is free for good. We never want a price tag between you and writing down how you feel.

If I cancel Pro, do I lose my info?

No. Your local history stays in the app. Cancelling just turns off the Pro extras, AI write-ups, caregiver sharing, polished exports, and cloud backup. You can turn it back on anytime.

What’s the difference between Pro and Family?

Pro gives one person all the extras. Family adds everything in Pro plus managing up to 6 people’s profiles from one place, great for a parent tracking a child’s care, or caring for an aging parent.

Do I need iOS 26 for the AI?

The AI write-ups need iOS 26. On older iPhones (iOS 18+), the app still spots the same patterns and shows them, they’re just worded more simply. Nothing is missing; only the wording changes.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. The AI uses tools built into the iPhone, so for now the app is iPhone only. We’d rather make one app that works really well than two that don’t.

Can my employer or insurer get my Valeska info?

We do not sell or disclose your health record to employers or insurers. They receive information only when you choose to export it, send it, or grant someone caregiver access. You control who sees what.
